Conectados a través de la técnica conferencia vídeo discuten el autor Ingo Schulze y el filósofo Axel Honneth sobre el tema Democracia y Economía. Llegan a conversar con el crítico del capitalismo Cui Zhiyuan y con el filósofo Lu Xinghua en Pekín. Desde Londres participarán el dramaturgo Simon Stephens, el activista político Anders Lustgarten y el autor Mark Fisher.
¿Cómo se discute en China la interdependencia entre economía y política? ¿Qué base existe para poder hablar de imperativos de acción (Handlungszwänge) en la política, por ejemplo a causa de intereses económicos? ¿Vivimos en occidente en post democracías (Postdemokratien), en las cuales los mercados se han adueñado del poder de controlar y diseñar? ¿Qué papel tiene la cultura?
Está prevista la posibilidad de asistir vía Twitter (#MapDem). Además se utilizará Weibo, paralélamente al Twitter bloqueado en China.
Por encontrarme en Múnich podría haber ido al teatro de la ciudad en el cual el público de aquí se reunía para seguir al intercambio de ideas sobre el tema. Pero por haber leído tanto de que con twitter se puede seguir hasta a conferencias de ciencias serias y duras como la física me decidí a hacer el experimento y seguir al evento desde casa con el ordenador en marcha y bien sintonizado a las señales procedentes de twitter con el distintivo #MapDem (o #mapdem - de paso aprendí que es lo mismo).
Curioso que al conectarme con https://twitter.com vía correo electrónico inmediatamente me llegó este mensaje de twitter: Heinrich Allers, ¡Ha pasado bastante tiempo desde que te vimos por aquí!
Temía que cada equis segundos me entrarían mensajes de #mapdem vía twitter, pero no ha sido tanto, y mucho menos, cada equis minutos. Lástima que el protocolo de los mensajes no lo grabé al final del evento, porque entonces se podría haber visto el número de minutos que pasaron entre dos mensajes tuiteros. (Debido a que guardé los mensajes sólo unas horas más tarde, ahora no se lo ve).
